Very often looking at endless websites of wedding photographers can be both daunting, confusing and draining. How do you know that they're going to capture your day fully, and that the photos on their website aren't just the best one-offs? - To help with this I've put a selection of three weddings of varying length on my page so you can get a real feel for the amount of stellar photos you can expect from a variety of different shoot lengths.

Elizabeth and Jame's York registry office wedding was a small 2 hour booking. With a portrait session in the museum gardens and outside York minster to create a magical selection of images in a short amount of time. Passing by The House of Trembling Madness where they first met and stopping in for a quick first pint as a married couple, and ending at 22 Yards Wine Bar to have their wedding meal with the rest of their family and friends, their whole shoot was less than 3 hours but had all the images they could want covered. They also opted for a small additional roll of black and white film photos that have an absolutly timeless quality to them (see images at end of section)..

It's a special day that deserves unique and timeless photographs to help you remember and treasure it forever.

I am an award winning photographer with over 10 years of experience in both fine art, editorial and documentary photography. My relaxed and authentic style extends to my down-to-earth and friendly personality - I'm not going to be getting in the way or telling your dad off for standing up to take a photo of you on his i-phone.

When I'm not photographing potatoes high in the Peruvian Andes, I'm usually based in York, petting the nearest dog or failing at rock climbing (but having a good ol' time giving it a go!).

90 minutes. Almost entirely analogue film.

Shot almost entirely on 35mm film, Matilda and Nick's short registry office wedding was an absolute delight to photograph, despite the rainy London weather. With only 20 minutes in the registry office and another 10 after, we still managed to get some beautifully natural pictures of Nick giving her his jacket to keep the rain off her hair, and the mad dash through London in the rain while Nick carried Matilda's bouquet - these small moments still really make beautiful photographs and lasting memories.
