Having a wealth of experience in the documentary approach helps me catch those fleeting moments, the ability to create the 'big effect' pictures, and also gives me the flexibility to adapt my style to suit your vision.

Many of my clients are wanting to create a wedding that is both personal and unique to them; they may have ideas about how they would like it to be photographed and would rather not be limited by a fixed range of photograper's packages.

I'm frequently astonished by clients telling me of weddings they have attended where events have been dominated by the taking of the photos: I am aware that I am photographing a very special event and always seek to be part of it, not to control it. My intention is that the making of pictures should be an enjoyable addition to everything else.

I feel that it is important to get to know each other a little beforehand - so that we're all comfortable with one another on the day, but also so that I have a clear sense of how things will unfold and where the creative possibilities may lie. Spending time with you at the venue  beforehand is invaluable and I offer it without charge.

If you are wanting a flexible and personal approach I offer my services at a standard hourly rate and you can book me for as long or short a time as you wish.  You can order the prints you want in the sizes you want and the cost is kept to a reasonable level although I use an award-winning lab.  If you would like a beautifully designed and presented photo album, I will be happy to provide that for you also.
