People, places and celebrations:-

I love weddings. I love the magic - the specialness of them. I love photographing them, too... catching the essence of the fleeting moment... those special moments that are there and then gone, never to repeat themselves.

It’s like dipping into someone else’s world at a very special time, sharing something of the emotion of the event, capturing it in a little black box and then, later, taking out these little fleeting moments that have been caught in time and are now preserved for all to see.

I live and work in York, so I know many of our best locations very well. My earlier career was as an award-winning documentary film camerman, so I delight in buiding a montage of the day, which is placed in your own password protected part of the website for you, your friends and distant relatives to view. I get involved in my work and in the time consumed in editing the results, so I limit the number of events that I attend to one or two a month.
